Additive fuels meat-and-bone meal and sludge
Whether in coal power plants or in waste incineration plants, meat-and-bone meal and dried sludge are meanwhile an integral part of electricity and district heat generation. Approximately 5% meat-and-bone meal and approx. 2% dried sludge are added to the coal dust. These additive fuels are stored in silos.

VEGAFLEX 62 for level measurement of additive fuels
The robust construction of VEGAFLEX 62, which can handle tractive forces up to three tons, makes possible its use for additive fuels in containers and silos up to 40 m (112 ft) high. Being completely insensitive to buildup and intense dust generation, VEGAFLEX 62 is the ideal sensor for continuous filling level measurement. Because the instrument is already calibrated to the sensor length at the factory, on-site adjustment is not necessary.

VEGAVIB 62 for level detection
VEGAVIB 62 is implemented for level limitation in the meat-and-bone meal silo. This overfill protector with suspension cable extension renders dependable service here.
|
VEGAVIB 61 as min. level detector
VEGAVIB 61 is installed laterally and used as empty detector in the meat-and-bone meal silo. In the conveying process, it also takes on an important role as backup detector at the transfer station.
