Diagnosis, service and maintenance
The display shows the status message "Function check". The asset management information provided by the radar sensors for preventive maintenance fulfils the requirements of NAMUR recommendation NE 107.
Special attention was given to asset management functions during the development of the new radar electronics. The new VEGAPULS series 60 radar sensors make the status information available according to NE 107 "Self Monitoring and Diagnosis". Additional error messages in clear text make a detailed and target-oriented diagnosis possible. The current device status is thus known at all times, allowing possible maintenance work to be planned in advance. With this technology, VEGA is paving the way to completely new servicing concepts.
Functions for preventive maintenance
- Clear text indication of the instrument status
- Extensive data memory for measured values, events and diagnoses including date and time
- Echo curve memory for fault diagnosis (example: The stored adjustment curve from setup enables diagnosis of the antenna system without disassembly)
- Integrated temperature sensor in the electronics
