Successful exhibition at Hanover fair / Interkama 2008

Customers and interested parties from many different countries got informed on VEGA's latest solutions at the Hanover fair / Interkama 2008. The special highlights were the innovations VEGAPULS 67, PLICSRADIO and WEB-VV, all presented in Booth C25, Hall 7.

VEGAPULS 67
With the introduction of the new radar sensor VEGAPULS 67 for bulk solids, VEGA has provided the ideal complement to the existing sensor VEGAPULS 68 and made it an unbeatable team. Since neither dust, air currents, filling noise nor high temperatures affect radar signals, the new technology has established itself firmly since the introduction of VEGAPULS 68 three years ago. VEGAPULS 67 now allows radar measurement technology to penetrate the price-sensitive standard applications market.

PLICSRADIO
VEGA Grieshaber KG introduced with PLICSRADIO a solution for transmitting measurement data from areas not readily accessible or very far away. With the new transmitting and receiving unit any 4 ... 20 mA/HART signal as well as switching state can be wirelessly transmitted over long distances to the control room or relay station. PLICSRADIO is the ideal solution when laying a signal line from the sensors to the processing unit is either impossible or too costly. Obstacles like streets, railroad lines, rivers and buildings can be overcome smoothly and inexpensively.

WEB-VV
With the introduction of the new measurement data visualisation software WEB-VV, VEGA offers a comfortable inventory visualisation, that is just suitable for company networks as well as for worldwide measurement data logging. The spectrum of applications for WEB-VV is very broad. The first pilot applicatons with the VMI solution are already successfully running in flour mills and tank farms. The business model can be easily applied to any application in the food and petrochemical industries, at building materials suppliers, as well as in the environment and recycling industry.
