VEGAPULS 63 for low temperature applications up to -170 °C (-274 °F)

VEGAPULS 63 for low temperature applications up to -170 °C (-274 °F) The sensor version of VEGAPULS 63 for low temperatures is ideal for measurement of levels in vessels with liquefied gases (cryogen).
Due to the low dielectric value (εr-value) of these gases, it is recommended to carry out the level measurement in standpipes.

To protect the electronics against low temperatures, a temperature adapter was integrated in this version of VEGAPULS 63. This allows also the complete isolation of the process fitting whereas the electronics housing remains accessible.

The sensor has an Ex zone approval in the temperature range of -170 °C … +150 °C.
