VEGA’s Winter Collection
DTM Collection 12/2011 includes not only new DTMs but numerous function enhancements as well.
New DTM Collection 12/2011
VEGA is now introducing the new DTM Collection 12/2011. It includes PACTware Release 4.1 as well as functional enhancements in the adjustment routines of various sensors.
Parallel to introducing new instrument functionalities, VEGA is issuing a new release of its DTM Collection that also contains PACTware 4.1.
The DTMs describe the functionality of the hardware and allow it to be adjusted and operated in full. All VEGA DTMs for instrument parameterization were developed according to the FDT/DTM Style Guide and compiled in the DTM Collection.
PACTware 4.1 has at its disposal a diagnostic scan that was extended in compliance with NA-MUR recommendation NE 107. This function provides the operator with even more comprehen-sive information on the status of his plant. Also new in this version is the so-called Topology Scan. It allows automatic construction of the project tree, even with complex system structures and instruments from different manufacturers.
In addition to new DTMs, e.g. for the radiation-based sensors with FF electronics, the new DTM Collection comprises function enhancements for the radiation-based sensors with HART inter-face. There is also a new DTM for VEGAPULS sensors with Modbus electronics.
It goes without saying that VEGA’s new DTMs replace all older DTMs of the same series. Compatibility is ensured across all instrument versions. This means the user can adjust and operate all instrument generations to the full extent with the current release of the DTM Collection.
The DTM Collection is available free of charge in the download area of VEGA‘s website www.vega.com
