Users worldwide are enthused: The VEGAPULS 68 sensors for solids demonstrate their worth in demanding applications
|
Around the middle of the year VEGA Grieshaber KG introduced VEGAPULS 68, the first radar sensor specially developed for applications with solids.
Due to its high sensitivity, VEGAPULS 68 can be used for a considerably wider range of applications than sensors previously available on the market: from quantity measurement in quarrystone bunkers or cement plants, to level measurement of grain and flour in the food processing industry, to collection of data on granulates and powders in plastics manufacturing.
The big advantage of radar technology is plain to see: the non-contact measurement is wear-free and easy to install. Adjustable operating parameters ensure easy, trouble-free adaptation to the respective application.
Before the new sensors were introduced to the market, an internationally coordinated instrument test was carried out. In Australia, in the USA, in South Africa as well as in other countries, VEGAPULS 68 was tested for ruggedness and reliable function in diverse applications.
In the meantime, there are over 1000 of these sensors in operation worldwide. This is certainly an indicator of the success of this innovation.
