Transport of bulk solids
|
|
Belt transfer
The transport of rough and fine bulk materials within a production plant is usually carried out via conveyor belts. Transfer stations are integrated in the conveyor line to achieve a steady throughput. The incoming bulk solids are stored for a short time in a buffer silo.
|
Level monitoring in the transfer station with the VEGAPULS 67 radar sensor
Level measurement in the belt transfer stations plays an important role in controlling the conveyor belt and the production process. The sensor must not be affected by the falling material. The narrow focusing of the VEGAPULS 67 radar sensor avoids measurement of the bulk solids streaming in. As a result, the measurement is reliable even when large amounts of dust are generated.

Overfill protection with VEGAVIB 62
VEGAVIB 62 is the optimal overfill detector for light bulk solids. It reliably detects almost all bulk goods without any special adjustment. Its integrated function monitoring (SIL 2) guarantees reliable functioning at all times.

Flexible overfill protection VEGACAP 65
The VEGACAP 65 is extremely robust and thus ideal for use in heavy bulk solids. Its straining weight of steel or high-grade steel resists the hardest blows and ensures a long service life.
