VEGA DTM Collection version 05/2009

PACTware is the FDT technology-based solution for the integration of field instruments, communication components, remote I/O systems and interface modules. Adjustment and operation of all components is carried out via their own device drivers, so-called DTMs.
These describe the hardware completely and present adjustment/operation in graphical form. All instrument and commuication DTMs required for parameter adjustment of the instruments are included in the DTM Collection.
The VEGA DTMs for operating plics® instruments with 4 … 20 mA/HART or Profibus PA interface are certified as per the guidelines of FDT Group.
The standard version of the new DTM Collection can be downloaded free of charge as a complete package or as individual software components in the download area: Home » Downloads » Software » DTM-Collection + PACTware™ (FDT)

Notes
- DTM Style Guide
With the exception of the communication DTMs and the VEGACONNECT DTMs, all DTMs from the setup "VEGA plics DTM"
have been equipped with a new graphical user interface according to the FDT/DTM Style Guide 1.1.
- Technology change
Parallel to the conversion of the user interface, the technology for development of the DTMs was changed to .NET 1.1 and an
update of the FDT interface was carried out according to the FDT 1.2.1 specification.
Due to the use of new technologies, data (project data, echo curve recordings, trend recordings, etc.) recorded with this
DTM version cannot be processed with previous versions
- Downward compatibility
In spite of the extensive changes, all enclosed DTMs are fully downward compatible, with all previous instrument versions.
Moreover, all data (project data, echo curve recordings, trend recordings, etc.) that were
recorded with older DTM versions can also be further processed with this DTM version.
