Level detection with the new vibrating level switches of VEGAVIB series 60 |
The vibrating level switches of VEGAVIB series are universal level switches for applications in all solids. The new sensors VEGAVIB 60 are available in the normal rod design or the new fork design. The sensors ensure reliable performance as overfill and dry run protection for applications such as flour, milk powder, sand, cement or plastic granules. Even ultra light products like polystyrene with a specific weight of 0,015 g/cm3 cause no problem for the sensor. As the mounting position and the granule size have no influence, the set-up is very easy and no adjustment is necessary. All versions are SIL 2 certified with options for dust-Ex, gas or combined ATEX approvals. A high temperature version to 250°C is also available, as well as a special design for detection of solids in water. With the new member of the plics-family, the VEGAVIB 60, VEGA can offer now all plics advantages even for the level detection in solids: easy selection of the most suitable measuring unit, quick mounting and set-up, trouble-free operation and elaborated service.
