VEGABAR series 10: Pressure measurement in gases and liquids |
Measuring principle The pressure measuring cell is the heart of the pressure transmitter converting the pressure into an electrical signal. This pressuredependent signal is converted by the integrated electronics into a standardized output signal. Different sensors are used for pressure measurement. The ceramic cells have the advantages of excellent longterm stability with high overload resistance. The metal cells cover higher measuring ranges and use stainless steel as diaphragm material.
