VEGA
VEGA Grieshaber KG is a world-leading supplier of level, switching and pressure instrumentation. On the journey to achieve this strong position, the company always had one basic objective: the development of innovative, market leading products.
Established in 1959 in the Black Forest, VEGA today employs 900 people world-wide, 500 of whom are at the company’s headquarters in Schiltach.
In more than 70 countries, VEGA is actively represented  with subsidiary companies and sales partners. In Europe alone, VEGA is present in 32 countries, in North and South America in 10 countries and in Africa, Asia and Australia in 30 countries.
VEGA is a reliable partner for all industries from both a technical and commercial viewpoint. VEGA sensors work reliably and accurately in very different and challenging applications, for example: in the petrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries, in food processing and drinking water treatment, in sewage treatment plants, landfills, mining and energy generation, on drilling platforms, ships and even in aircrafts.

In 1997, VEGA introduced the first two-wire radar sensor in the world. Two years later VEGA advanced to international market leader in radar level measurement. Since 2003 the VEGA product system, plics demonstrates how good design can effectively reduce time and cost expenditures when using modern measuring technologies. These savings concern the complete lifecycle of the measuring instruments: from selection, ordering, right through to installation, set-up, operation and service.
In November 2004 VEGA produced the 100.000th radar instrument.
In the same year VEGA introduced the first radar sensor specially developed for level measurement of bulk solids. Reliable level measurement is guaranteed even under most difficult process conditions of extreme dust generation, heat and filling noise. VEGA sets new standards for bulk solids measurement. Stay on course with the technology leader.

The Grieshaber Group

What began as a crafts enterprise in 1903 in Triberg, in the Black Forest, eventually became a plant producing turned precision parts, and later, a leading enterprise in its sector. VEGA as we know it today was founded in 1959, and in 1997 it introduced eric – the first two-wire radar sensor in the world. This innovation brought amazing success: almost overnight, VEGA advanced to international market leader in the area of radar sensors. With 860 employees and an export share of over 70%, VEGA is now the largest company in the Grieshaber Group.

Grieshaber GmbH & Co. KG

Established in 1903 as handicraft establishment, now the company Grieshaber realizes, on an area of 8.500 sq. m, a production volume of over 120 millions non-ferrous metal precision parts with highest quality requirements. Supfina Grieshaber GmbH & Co. KG

It is a tradition at Supfina to exceed customer expectations and to adapt to changes in the market. The company's history and vision reflects this. Supfina originated as two companies. In the Black Forest, the two brothers Albin and Bruno Grieshaber found a machine shop in 1903, which eventually became the company, "Grieshaber Turning Parts" in Wolfach.

In Remscheid the Hentzen Family has owned the "Bergische Tool Factory" since 1910. Their production schedule has evolved over the years from spiral burr and screw thread drills to hobbing. The next step was machine assembly, which led to the technology of Superfinishing. The name of our company was created in 1951, when the Remscheid location changed its name to "Supfina - Wieck and Hentzen". Supfina originates from the word Superfinishing. The name and trademark "Supfina" is born!

"Grieshaber Turning Parts" was producing lathes and gears during this time. During the 60's the demand for superfinished surfaces was on the increase. Recognizing the market potential the Grieshaber Family decides to build Superfinishing machines, as Supfina.

In 1972 both companies started their cooperation and eventually merged in 1995. "Supfina Grieshaber GmbH & Co. KG", as it is known today, was born.

Supfina provides superior customer service all over the world. Supfina Machine Company offers complete Superfinishing solutions for the entire American market. Supfina France, the fourth member of 'global Supfina' represents the group in another major Superfinishing market. The combination of these global sites has positioned Supfina as the largest worldwide supplier of Superfinishing machines and attachments. Supfina's free flowing communication between all four locations makes up Supfina's open company culture and technology exchange.  http://www.supfina.de
