Nuclear Continuous Level Measurement
|
In Nucleonic Continuous Level Measurement, a narrow fan of radiation is directed through the vessel to a detector mounted on the opposite side.
As the process level rises, the electromagnetic energy from the source is progressively shielded from the detector by the process medium.
The detector signal is conditioned to provide an accurate process level measurement based on the amount of energy detected. An accuracy of better than ±1% of span can be expected.
