Backscatter Radiation
The SmartScan Interface Profiler is able to detect multiple interface levels between materials such as solids, liquids, foams, and gasses. The unit does this by using backscatter technology that measures the amount of radiation reflected from a product.
Dry Well
The SmartScan uses a dry-well in which the source and detector travel vertically over the range of the vessel.
Modes
There are six modes of operation including: Profile, Scan, Interface Track, Single Point, Density Track, and Store.
