Level measurement with VEGAFLEX 66
The continuous level sensor VEGAFLEX 66 for use in liquid asphalt has a temperature range up to 250 °C (482 °F). Neither build-up nor foaming of the liquid asphalt can influence the measuring result. Internal vessel installations, such as heating elements, do not bother the measurement either.
VEGABAR 65 with metallic measuring cell for level measurement in the bitumen tank
Space-savingly installed from below, VEGABAR 65 is practically immune to the rough conditions in the bitumen tank. Foam does not influence the hydrostatic measuring principle either. Thanks to its patented design, the METEC-measuring cell has excellent accuracy and temperature characteristics. All parts in contact with the medium are made of high-grade steel 1.4435 and Hastelloy C 276.
Overfill protection with VEGACAP 64
VEGACAP 64 as a separate overfill protection is the ideal complement to continuous level measurement. Even build-up several centimeters thick on the electrode does not lead to switching point displacement or faulty switching.
VEGABAR 65 with metallic measuring cell for
Installed from the bottom, the space-saving VEGABAR 65 is completely immune to the adverse conditions in the bitumen tank. Even foam does not influence the hydrostatic measuring principle. VEGABAR 65 owes its extremely high accuracy, even at high temperatures, to the METEC measuring cell. The patented construction of the METEC measuring cell gives it excellent temperature characteristics. All wetted components are made of 1.4435 stainless steel and Hastelloy C 276.

VEGACAP 64 as overfill protection lends itself well as a supplement to continuous level measurement. Even build-up several centimeters thick on the electrode does not lead to switching point displacement or faulty switching. The instrument is thus ideal as the main component of an overfill protection system in the bitumen tank.
