VEGA Tank Measuring System for ships – measurement readings from a single source

The modular structure of the plics-sensor concept allows the connection of different measurement points to the Tank Measuring System. State-of-the-art modules for sensor power supply in Ex and non-Ex areas deliver level, limit level, pressure, temperature or draught values.

No matter what kind of ship, the levels in cargo and service tanks are reliably detected and transmitted to the on-board computer. Tank Measuring System can be customised for any number of measurement points with cascadable switching cabinet components.

Digital bus connections guarantee faultless measured value transmission – from the sensor on deck to the central processor in the control room. The modern LC- display with integrated keyboard shows measured values and alarm messages clearly and allows easy, user-friendly adjustment. Thanks to the digital output interfaces, Tank Measuring System can be easily connected to the existing data infrastructure on ships.

The optional GPS modem connections of Tank Measuring System facilitate maintenance and servicing of the system in dry dock and at sea.

Numerous ship approvals and the clearly defined interfaces for the centrally compiled measurement data ensure easy planning and operational safety for shipping companies and shipyards.
