Point level measurement with conductive level switches
Conductive sensors are used in conductive liquids. The probe detects the product resistance when immersed. The very small alternating current that then flows is measured by the integrated electronics and converted into a corresponding switching signal. The switching signal is determined by the mounting position or the length of the respective probe. Applications can be found in all areas of industrial measurement technology, e.g. in overflow protection, pump control or dry run protection.
The advantages
Conductive level sensors provide reliable, maintenance-free point level detection thanks to their simple and robust construction.
