Managing director Isabel Grieshaber ensures the right framework conditions in the innovation work and the appropriate team mix. What is particularly important to her is that all managers are socially competent, devote enough time, space and confidence to new ideas in their departments, and that they examine these ideas without bias. "Thinking outside the box" is the initiative for finding new ideas, in which the employees get complete freedom to look around their environment and talk about innovations. The resulting development processes are deliberately not pressed into the corset of a classical organisational structure in this firm, but are driven forward in interdisciplinary and often also intercultural teams by the person(s) who had the idea. This is a good system, because instead of using statistics and often unrealistic project plans, it relies on the many years of experience, self-motivation and high competence of qualified idea providers.
