VEGADIF 85 – simple setup and flexible installation: Setting up conventional differential pressure sensors and putting them into operation is often very complicated. VEGADIF 85 simplifies this process considerably: With either VEGA Tools app or PACTware, sensors can be set up easily via Bluetooth or DTM. Also, the electronics can be mounted separately from the sensor, which is advantageous in inaccessible, very wet or dirty environments and makes calibration easier.

Absolute pressure measurement and totaliser: With VEGADIF, a second current output enables simultaneous transmission of the differential pressure and the absolute pressure on the low pressure side. Quantity and mass flow measurements can be digitally output and easily analysed via an integrated totaliser. This enables extended process monitoring with just one sensor.

Electronic differential pressure system: The eDP system from VEGA combines the advantages
of individual ceramic and metallic measuring cells with differential pressure measurement. Metallic cells are recommended for eDP applications in humid or cold conditions, while ceramic is used for aggressive media. The system can also carry out density-compensated level measurement by having two sensors measure level and density simultaneously and automatically adjust themselves. This makes it possible to measure level and density accurately with just one transmitter, and output those two values.
And don't forget: VEGA’s eDP system also supports digital protocols like Profibus PA and Foundation Fieldbus.
