Answers to common questions about internships at VEGA Americas

What kind of company is VEGA Americas?

VEGA Americas, Inc. is a leader for the production of level measurement devices used to calculate the amount of product in containers such as silos and tanks. VEGA products measure solids, liquids, and gases. We combine manufacturing, distribution, and service for products that represent the most sophisticated process measurement technologies in the world.

What sort of work will I be doing?

Will I work alone or in a group?

Both; the Program Manager assigns projects to interns, and interns are responsible for their completion. However, most projects require interaction with VEGA peers and superiors.

When does VEGA Americas offer internships?

Is VEGA Americas interested in an intern with my major?

Are internships paid?

Yes, we pay our interns. Discuss details with the Program Manager during the hiring process.

What are the qualifications for acceptance to the internship program?

The Job Descriptions page contains information about each position's qualifications. Generally, applicants must be enrolled in a two- or four-year college as a sophomore or higher and have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Are internships full-time or part-time?

Both full- and part-time opportunities are available depending on position, project, and need.

What is VEGA Americas' address?

What is the dress code?

The expected attire at VEGA Americas is business casual. Interns will not need to purchase a suit or a dress to work here. We'll discuss specific policies after completing the hiring process.

Do you hire co-ops?

We're interested in hiring both interns and co-ops. The Internship Program Manager will work with each student's college or university on a case-by-case basis.
