What brought you to VEGA?
I was at a career fair at Northern Kentucky University
when the yellow stand caught my eye. I talked with Mary Johnson, Employee Development Manager, and I really liked her emphasis on the family environment and meaningful work here.

I help customers find sales representatives that will help them, I co-run the VEGA co-op Twitter
account, and ship packages all around the world.
Have you worked on any special projects?
I am currently trying to find a way to increase engagements on our marketing internship page and Twitter accounts. I am also working with our Marketing Data Analyst, Mike, on opening up new markets that VEGA can operate in. Dealing with big data is a tall task that is fun to take on.
What is your biggest accomplishment at VEGA?
Getting a job here in the first place. I used to work at Home Depot throwing mulch into people's cars. This was a huge step for me and I am thankful every day that I was given this opportunity.

Definitely Jimmy John's. Slim 3 every time.
What is your favorite class?
Intro to Microeconomics, it really opened my viewpoint into how individual people and businesses make decisions.
What challenges do you face with this internship?
Sometimes there is too much work to be done in one day. But when it's low pressure I can always pick up on what I was doing the next time I work.
