Matt has done a fantastic job of completing impactful projects that helps VEGA increase market share. The deliverables include customers and contacts that are new to VEGA and provide our sales force the ability to quickly target opportunities and determine potential within their territory!
My daily tasks usually consist of ongoing projects that I am currently working on. Making cold calls a few times per week within the ready-mix industry and speaking with Operations Managers in order to spark interest in our products. Also I concentrate on incoming quotes for a small portion of each day as well as helping on a variety of marketing projects.
The majority of my time spent at VEGA is on sales lead development projects. I search for areas within 3-digit zip codes where we as a company are underdeveloped. I recognize our market potential within that region based on industry classification codes. I then develop industry-specific leads for regional managers in order for VEGA as a whole to develop a relationship with these new corporations to eventually develop into future sales.

I cold called a prospect that eventually wanted to meet with us. Myself and our business development manager drove to Cleveland to meet with him. He had an interest in our products and our future hope is to see a sale develop from this.
VEGA makes me feel like I have a purpose. My marketing and sales managers give me awesome projects that I know when I complete them, they will have a future positive impact in the growth of our company.
