Local students visit VEGA Americas for a day of learning, fun
Cincinnati 4th-graders tour campus
Last week, VEGA Americas welcomed a group of special visitors: Fourth graders from a local elementary school. The field trip was part of a larger community outreach program: VEGA Americas participates in Adopt-a-Class and sends a group of employees to the school monthly to assist the students with math and science lessons.
At the VEGA Americas’ Cincinnati campus, the students toured all three buildings, saw how some measurement products are assembled and boxed, and did hands-on product demos. Along the way, their teacher pointed out how the mathematic and scientific principles they learn about in school apply to VEGA’s measurement technologies.
By the day’s end, the students had learned more about measurement technology and how what they are learning today provides a foundation for future innovation. VEGA Americas is proud to be part of this important community program.
