VEGA Instruments SA launches the VEGAPULS 69 to the local industry in Cape Town and Johannesburg
For nearly 20 years, VEGA has been market leader in the radar level measurement sector but continue to make our products even better with the continuous investments in Research and Development. Today with the launch of the new VEGAPULS 69 level transmitter that operates at a frequency of 79 GHz, which allows a considerably better focusing of the emitted signal benefiting the measurement of narrow silos as well as optimized measurement of signals in conical shaped silos. Even products, which until recently were very difficult to measure because of their poor reflective properties (such as low DK plastic powders and or dry wood chips) can now be measured with very high reliability.
VEGA's Cape Town customers were hosted on the 13th January 2015 at Milnerton Golf Club for the South Africa launch of the new VEGAPULS 69 Radar focused on the measurement of the solids industry. Clemens Hengstler VEGA's Radar Product Manager from Germany demonstrated to the customers how the new VEGAPULS 69 can measure up to 120 meters and has an accuracy of +/- 5 mm as well as the new software features that allow this instrument to function in some of the toughest conditions that the world of process control has to offer.
There was a second product launch hosted at the Roodepoort Country Club on the 15th of January 2015 in Johannesburg where Clemens gave several live demonstrations as to simulate the process intelligence now in these instruments.
