Thanks to the generosity of the staff at VEGA Controls SA (Pty Ltd), the pre-school children at Oliver's Village will be keeping warm this winter with a generous donation of 240 pairs of socks and gloves and 120 beanies.
There was great excitement at the Village when the winter woollies arrived and the children got to put them on – pink for the girls and blue for the boys. Oliver's Village is part of Oliver's House, a registered charity and NPO based in Benoni, Johannesburg. Founded in 2001 the charity focuses on early childhood development, education, skills development and community development.
"We are pleased to be able to bring some winter cheer to the little children at Oliver's House", said Managing Director John Groom. "At VEGA we believe in supporting the communities that need assistance and that we work close to.
