Anyone who thinks of Argentinian food thinks of beef. Whether in Buenos Aires, in Bahia Blanca, in Gonzalo, La Plata or Neuquen, or even in the remotest places, the XXXL steaks tasted excellent. Grilled, they are the main ingredient of the “asados”, the sociable barbecue meals that somehow transform any food into a feast. Good thing there was a fitness room waiting for me in almost every hotel. So as I travelled home, nobody noticed that I had eaten so much delicious food. But a spontaneous fruit diet next week won’t hurt me either. ;-)
