New report showcases significant reductions in carbon emissions, increased renewable energy capacity, and continued investment in people and communities.

VEGA UK has published its Sustainability Report 2025, providing a transparent overview of the company's progress in reducing environmental impact, supporting communities, and helping customers protect the natural world through innovative measurement technology.

The report highlights substantial progress against VEGA UK's Sustainability Roadmap, including a 67% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 Greenhouse Gas emissions, a 29% reduction in building water consumption, and an increase in fleet electrification from 40% to 77% in just one year. These achievements support the wider VEGA Group commitment to achieving Greenhouse Gas neutrality for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2033.

Throughout 2025, VEGA continued to invest in practical initiatives that deliver both environmental and business value. The company's highly efficient UK headquarters benefited from a full year of operation of its solar energy and battery infrastructure, including 172 kW of solar generation capacity and a 300 kW battery system. Building energy consumption fell by 17% compared with the previous year.

As a trusted supplier to water companies and environmental organisations across the UK, VEGA's measurement technologies continue to play a vital role in monitoring wastewater networks, pollution incidents, flood risk, and environmental performance. The company's solutions help customers make informed decisions that support environmental protection and operational efficiency.

Beyond environmental performance, the report also highlights VEGA's commitment to people and communities. During 2025, the company awarded 24 employee sustainability grants, donated £12,000 to charitable causes, and launched its "Instruments for Change" partnership with Trees for the Future, supporting global reforestation and sustainable agriculture projects.
