VEGADIF: Flow-rate measurement via differential pressure
FunctionFlow measurement via differential pressure operates by means of a differential pressure generator, e.g. an orifice plate or a dynamic pressure probe. The differential pressure transmitter calculates the flow rate from the value measured via the differential pressure system. Thanks to the fine measuring cell graduation and the minimal measurement error, precise flow measurements can be realized. SeriesVEGADIF 85 is a compact differential pressure transmitter. As an option, VEGADIF can be equipped separately with chemical seals. |
MountingThe differential pressure is determined via a differential pressure transducer. Threaded or flanged connections allow installation in a variety of process fittings on pipes. The pressures are transmitted to the sensor via chemical seals. ConnectionThe instrument is connected with standard two-wire cable. SetupAs soon as a plausible measured value is found, the corresponding current is output on the signal line. The value corresponds to the current flow rate, in relation to the maximum measuring range. |
