VEGAKON, EL: Point level detection with conductive point level switches
When the electrodes of the conductive point level sensor come into contact with a conductive liquid, a small alternating current begins to flow. The electronics responds by triggering a switching command. Conductive point level sensors are used in all areas of industrial metrology, e.g. as overflow protection, pump control or dry run protection.
Single rod electrodes for single switching points, multiple electrodes with up to 5 switching points and VEGAKON 61 for installation in pipelines.
The switching signal is determined by the length or mounting position of the corresponding measuring electrode.
The instrument is connected with standard cable.
To realize a measuring system, a VEGATOR 131 or 132 signal conditioning instrument is required.
