VEGA sensors receive drinking water certifications

VEGA recently obtained the all-important NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 approvals for a number of pressure sensors, submersible pressure sensors, point level sensors, and radar level sensors.

This approval is essential for any instrumentation or equipment used for drinking water supplies in the United States and Canada.

The following VEGA instruments are now certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61:

Pressure sensors:                    Point level sensors:                 Radar level sensor:

VEGABAR 28                            VEGAPOINT 21                         VEGAPULS C 21

VEGABAR 38                            VEGAPOINT 23                         VEGAPULS C 22

VEGABAR 82                                                                           VEGAPULS C 23

VEGAWELL 52

The VEGAPULS C 21, C 22, and C 23 are the only radar level sensors to receive the certification, giving drinking water facilities another option for non-contact level measurements.

With these certifications on multiple sensors using different technologies, drinking water facilities can safely improve efficiencies.
