2026 Trend Event Info for VEGA Americas Employees | January 25 - 28, 2026

A brief overview of how the event will unfold:

  • January 23 – Flights to Germany
  • January 24 – Travel to Mainz (Optional)
  • January 25 – Arrival and Get-Together
  • January 26 – Workshop Day 1
  • January 27 – Workshop Day 2
  • January 28 – Departure

We will be staying at Hotel Castillo Alcazar in Europa Park and the Frankfurt Airport - The Hilton Garden Inn in Frankfurt.

For those of you staying in Mainz:

You will arrive in Frankfurt on the 24th and then take the train to Mainz. We will leave from Mainz to Schiltach on the 25th. 

The bus to Europa Park will pick us up at our hotel at 11 AM local time. Please be in the lobby by 10:45 AM.

DO NOT be late, we will be leaving on time.  The bus will pick us up directly in front of the hotel.

Train Info

You will want to use the ‘local trains’ station at the airport. This is located directly below the terminal 1 to 2 shuttle bus station. It is at the foot of the tall escalator. Look for this symbol:

S Train

This will take you below ground level. Find a kiosk that looks like this one (RMV) and purchase your ticket to Mainz Hbf. If you are staying in Mainz overnight, you do not need a return ticket.

You will want to take the S8 train in the direction of Wiesbaden-Hbf. You will get off at Mainz Hbf.  (it is the eighth stop from the airport).

 

Soccer Game Info

The soccer game ticket acts as your ticket on local transport in Mainz for 2 hours before the game and the rest of the day in the Mainz area. This will allow you to easily take a bus to the game (just get on the bus with all the other fans). The stadium is a 5-minute bus ride from Mainz Hbf. If you don’t want to take a bus, you can also take a cab. It is not a short walk.
