Magnetic level indicator for visual level measurement

Application area

The VEGAMAG 81 magnetic level indicator consists of a bypass mounted on the side of an existing vessel. The float used in the bypass uses an integrated magnet system to transmit the liquid level contactlessly to the magnetic display mounted on the outside of the bypass. This provides an easy-to-see display of the vessel level, which can be seen from a distance.

Application area
The VEGAMAG 83 is ideal for processes with low dielectric constant values, cryogenic applications, or light hydrocarbons. The VEGAMAG 83 pairs with a non-contact VEGAPULS radar instrument in the same chamber as the magnetic float. With this unique design, the radar tracks the metallic float top rather than the liquid surface.
