Level measurement in the stormwater basin

If a stormwater overflow basin cannot hold the inflowing volume of water, part of it is discharged. Due to legal regulations, the containment and discharge events have to be measured and recorded accurately. A level sensor provides the required data for these events

Level measurement in the process water tank

Water for cleaning and rinsing is made available at various points in the sewage treatment plant via pressure pumps. To ensure a constant supply, the level in the process water tank is continuously measured.

Pressure monitoring in the pump room

The pressure in the pipeline is measured directly at the feed pump and displayed in the control system of the facility. Any potential malfunctions are quickly detected.

Level measurement in the sewage lift station

Wastewater and the materials contained in it, are raised to a higher level by a screw pump, which allows them to flow down towards the sewage treatment plant over a natural gradient. Level measurement in the inlet shaft ensures economical operation of the pumps.

Close monitoring of the river level is an important prerequisite for reliable extraction for drinking water production, as well as flood detection and warning.

Level measurement in the flocculant storage tank

Flocculant is an important chemical for wastewater treatment, and is stored in a special tank. Continuous level measurement from the outside, right through the tank roof, ensures a sufficient supply of flocculant.

Pressure monitoring in the drinking water pipeline

To transport the drinking water, pumping stations generate the required water pressure, which is constantly monitored by a pressure transmitter.

Water level measurement for control of the screen rake

The degree of buildup is determined by means of a differential measurement of the water levels in front of and behind the screen, which initiates the cleaning of the screen when necessary.
